Today, I'm excited to share my experience at Mechā Noodle Bar in Brookline, Massachusetts. This place is a gem for anyone who loves delicious noodles and much more. Let's dive right in!
As soon as I walked in, I fell in love with Mechā Noodle Bar's hip and vibrant atmosphere. The industrial-chic decor and funky neon signs set the tone for an exciting culinary experience.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the menu! Mechā Noodle Bar offers an impressive array of Asian-inspired dishes. Whether you're craving ramen, pho, steamed baos, or vegetarian dumplings, this place has it all. I was extremely happy to find out that this place is very vegetarian friendly!
I visited Mechā Noodle Bar with my parents and to start we got the Buddha Bahn Mi with crispy coconut tofu, avocado sauce and pickled carrots, the Roasted Mushroom Dumplings with brown butter miso and arugula, and the Shiitake Steamed Bao with hoisin, scallions, kewpie and cucumber. All of these dishes had an insane amount of flavor and I truly could not recommend them enough - for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. The brown butter miso with the dumplings especially - wow wow wow!
The main dish I ordered - the Kinoko Vegetarian Ramen did NOT disappoint! It was so delicious and warm and made to perfection and I cannot wait to go back for seconds.
I would also highly recommend trying anything from their cocktail menu. I am a sucker for anything passion fruit flavored and I fell in love with the Smoke Show. I’ve never had anything like it and oh my was it good. Containing reposado tequila, mezcal, passion fruit, ginger, lime and sea salt, this combination of flavors blew my mind. Not too smokey, not too sweet. It was so good I ordered two!
The staff at Mechā Noodle Bar is friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to guide you through the menu. The service is top-notch, making your dining experience even more enjoyable.
