Petelina.

I discovered Petelina about two years ago thanks to my cousin who was a barista there at the time, and I instantly fell in love with this place!

Nestled in the quiet neighborhood of Tzahala in Tel Aviv, Petelina offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere with lots of indoor and outdoor seating that made me feel at home.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show: the food! Petelina's menu is a delightful mix of different cuisines. Their truffle polenta with fresh corn is a must-try—creamy, smooth, and bursting with flavor.

For the main course, I got the tofu stir fry and my dad got the mushroom and truffle gnocchi and WOW. I have always been such a sucker for anything truffle and that gnocchi blew my mind. The stir fry was incredible as well - perfectly spiced, tofu was crispy, delicious! My mom got the chicken livers with caramelized onions and mashed potatoes - I can’t personally attest to that one with me being vegetarian, but she had nothing but positive comments.

Petelina also has phenomenal breakfast that you should not sleep on! I don’t have pictures of their breakfast food but you’re going to have to trust me on that one. Everything from shakshuka to yogurt with granola and a classic Israeli breakfast, they do it all right.

Besides the amazing food, Petelina's service is exceptional. The staff is friendly, attentive, and passionate about their cuisine, ensuring your dining experience is nothing short of fantastic.

In conclusion, Petelina is a hidden gem in Tel Aviv, offering a cozy atmosphere and unforgettable cuisine. Whether you're a local looking for a new dining spot or a traveler eager to explore Tel Aviv's culinary scene, make sure to put Petelina on your list.

Much love,

Maya.
