Sunday in Brooklyn.

Sunday in Brooklyn is one of those restaurants that as soon as I tried it once it became an INSTANT favorite. It’s one of those places that if you ask me where to take your friend that’s visiting from out of town when you want to get a great brunch, this restaurant is sitting right at the top of the list. Located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, just a couple of blocks away from Domino Park, Sunday in Brooklyn is a “neighborhood spot serving American staples.”

I’ve been here several times for brunch and once in the evening for their Snowday in Brooklyn pop-up, and you really can’t go wrong with anything you order here. For starters, the Maple Cheddar Biscuit is an absolute must and if that’s not your vibe then the Corn Muffin with maple honey butter is also insanely good.

As for the main dishes, I’m a sucker for a good breakfast sandwich and the Egg & Cheese Sandwich definitely does the trick. If breakfast sandwiches aren’t what you’re feeling, I would highly recommend the Shakshuka; it’s served with a delicious focaccia and is guaranteed to satisfy that breakfast craving.

Not to be dramatic but the pancake is really one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s a bit different than your traditional pancake in texture and obviously taste, but I can assure you will not regret ordering it.

Sunday in Brooklyn does get pretty packed (understandably so,) so I would definitely recommend making a reservation in advance when you can! Even if you do have to wait, you are just a few blocks away from Domino park, several coffee shops, etc. so you have some great ways to pass the time while waiting for your favorite new brunch spot.

Much love,

Maya
