Aurora.

Aurora Brooklyn is a cozy Italian restaurant located in the Williamsburg neighbourhood of Brooklyn in New York. The food here was on another level. My friend and I split the Cacio e Pepe (easily one of the best I’ve had, coming from a self-proclaimed Cacio e Pepe connoisseur) and the Tortelloni (Butternut squash, amaretti, sage, giusti aged balsamic vinegar, pecorino.) Both perfect paired when with a glass of wine for a nice Fall dinner - I will definitely be going back! We finished off the meal with a Tiramisu (which of course I forgot to take a picture of, so you’ll just have to trust me) and believe it or not - it was also delicious.

I went to Aurora Brooklyn with 10 of my friends to celebrate my 25th birthday in late October and this place instantly became a new favorite. It can be hard to find a restaurant that would take such a large reservation on Halloween night and the staff at Aurora was nothing but kind and accommodating.

The service was also something to note. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating - everything was quick and seamless, even with us being a large group. Everyone was kind and just seemed happy to be there, which I never take for granted.

So if you happen to be in Williamsburg and looking for an authentic Italian restaurant that will blow your mind - you might just have to check out Aurora Brooklyn!

Much love,

Maya.
